I am starting this blog having been inspired by work by, and conversations online with, the likes of Creative Rugby, Jamie Taylor, Nick Winkelman, Ross Munro Williams, Jorge Carvahal, Mark Sheasby, Stuart Lierich and many many more.
Whilst all of the above have their various specialisations, I feel it is hugely important to learn from coaches in a variety of fields and I know that many other young coaches feel the same way. There are plenty of fascinating articles out there on coaching (whether opinion, research or biography based) that regularly inspire me and encourage me to look at things through a variety of perspectives in the hope of improving my own practice.
I therefore want to use this blog to chart my own experience with these articles and schools of thought as well as my practical experience whilst coaching and learning. My goal is to spend much of 2015 watching and meeting as many different coaches as possible, and this blog will also provide a home for these experiences and interviews so that I can share them with the coaching community.
